Product Features

  • Packer/Chang IOL cutter is an easy-to-use, precise scissor that minimizes tilting of the lens while enabling surgeons to safely cut through the IOL’s optic.
  • Micro-holding forceps can firmly grasp the IOL during explantation, retrieve a foreign body from the anterior chamber, or reposition a dislocated lens.
  • Hoffman/Ahmed Horizontal Micro-Scissors can be indispensable in many situations, such as iris repair and iridectomies, it can cut tissue and suture within the anterior chamber. The Curved Micro-Scissors can handle a dense fibrotic capsule and enlarge or rescue a capsulorhexis.
  • Seibel Capsulorhexis Forceps provides stability, visibility, and control of the capsulorhexis. It can even save the capsulorhexis that has gone wide.  It features a viewport at the distal end to help you see directly where you are grasping on the capsule. The forceps feature a rhexis ruler and are also available with sharp tips so that you may initiate your tear using the forceps, eliminating the need to use a cystotome.
  • Ahmed Micro-Graspers provide great flexibility when in need of grasping pupil margins for movement and iris for peripheral iridotomy, performing a scleral fixation of an IOL or refixation of a dislocated lens, foreign body removal, synechialysis and more – all within the anterior chamber.
  • The MST micro-instrumentation portfolio provides a range of other forcep heads such as Snyder graspers for IOL fixation and Ahmed Micro-tying forceps to tie sutures within the AC. For more information, refer to the product brochure.
